One DSI Mopho Keyboard. One Akai XR20 drum machine. One TC Helicon Harmony G-XT. One Shure SM58. One Boss RC-30 Loopstation…not to mention the nuts and bolts (mixer, etc.).
One funwithloops jam.
One shot jam. I didn’t record the building of the loops, but I just did an arpeggiation on the Mopho (two notes) and counted off around 16 beats mentally, then dropped in a quick beat, still just kind of feeling the running feel of the song. Matched up badly in a couple of spots so it received a cymbal hit or two…suddenly it was a cool loop. Setup a second loop with a running vocal line.
Setup my recorder (Zoom H4n) and ran the microphone while I tried some off-the-cuff lyrics. Affected. Funny. Not fucking bad.
